Hummingbird Night Dreams-2 (*)

"The nighttime dreams of the hummingbird represent ideas that symbolize independence and liberation, moving in any direction in the dark universe." Quote by Vladimir Tajc

Hummingbird Night Dreams-2

My abstract painting, "Hummingbirds Night Dreams", is a captivating piece with profound symbolism. My wife and I believe these beautiful birds have a spiritual connection, often encountering them in various places.
I came across the work of Christian Spencer, a Brazilian artist and photographer residing in Rio de Janeiro, and was very impressed by his discovery.

The magical effect of sunlight on the wings of a black hummingbird left a lasting impression. Spencer's photographs showcased a prismatic effect as the sun illuminated the bird, creating a body of rainbows.
This inspired me to create "Hummingbirds Night Dreams".

My artwork depicts the nighttime dreams of hummingbirds, symbolizing independence, and liberation in the vast, dark universe. These magnificent birds move freely in any direction, representing boundless potential within us all.
I aimed to create an enchanting atmosphere, capturing mystery and wonder.

Using vibrant oil colors on the canvas and applying them with my palette, I brought the canvas to life, akin to Spencer's prismatic effect. Contrasting against darkness, it emphasizes the transformative nature of dreams.
My artwork serves as a powerful reminder to embrace our dreams and aspirations.

Like hummingbirds, we can break free and soar to new heights. I invite everyone to explore uncharted territories and unlock their true potential.

Artist and photographer Christian Spencer was standing on his veranda in Rio de Janeiro when he made an incredible discovery: the magical effect sunlight has on the wings of a black hummingbird. The sun illuminated a hummingbird that flew close to him, causing a prismatic effect. At that moment, it was as if the bird's body was made of rainbows.
