Threshold

“There are doors you cannot see, but you can feel them. This is the moment right in front of one. Something is about to happen. On the other side… maybe there’s nothing. Or maybe everything, beginning to bloom in threads of light, falling like suspended seeds.” – Vladimir Tajč

Threshold

Threshold evokes that frontier instant when the invisible becomes present. These are not doors to be seen but thresholds to be felt: moments of anticipation where anything can happen. In the warm planes, reddish and golden tones vibrate as omens, while threads of white light fall like suspended seeds, hinting at the possibility of blossoming.

The work speaks of the boundary between the known and the unknown, between what opens and what remains hidden. Each stroke of the spatula becomes a call to perceive the intangible: the tension of a world transforming just before it reveals itself.

As part of the Scars of the Planet series, Threshold reminds us that every scar is also a threshold to something new.
